ABOUT US

Our Mission

RTUGAAI is committed to provide among its members the spirit of home environment at RTU, where each one form a vital part building harmonious atmosphere of camaraderie and unity geared towards service to the Alma Mater, its alumni and to the present generation the future molders of this land enrolled at RTU.

Our Vision

RTUGAAI envisions itself to be a stable Alumni Association financially equipped to handle its multi humanitarian service oriented projects. It will be for the RTU graduates a second home providing ambiance of professionalism, emotional stability, and moral upbringing. It will be an association managed by highly skilled and qualified alumni whose sense of direction and managerial expertise will take RTU to insurmountable national and international prestige; its alumni the feeling of fulfillment and actualization and its enrollees the pride to be in this institution.

Formation of Alumni Associations per College Department

Through the years, the RTUGAAI is looking forward to expand the members of the association as batches piled up every year. The number of graduates is always proportional to the associations’ population. Given this setup, it seems that the current number of the alumni is increasing but in reality there’s only a small portion of the population that seems to be active thus this leads to poor performance and functionality of the association. Passive members are more dominant than those who are interested to participate in alumni gatherings and activities.

To resolve this scenario, RTU GAAI 2015-2017 is pushing every college to have and form their alumni associations to empower the functionalities and operations of the entire RTUGAII. This will lead to monitor and track their respective alumni.

This will also give opportunities for each department associations to have their own projects and activities (e.g. fund raising , gatherings etc.). Currently, the College of Business and Entrepreneurial Technology is the only college in the university who has an operational alumni organization.

If you are interested to be part of the formation of your respective college’s alumni, please visit our office at Room 2005, 2nd floor Neptali Gonzales Main Academic Building, RTU, Boni Mandaluyong Campus or call us at (02) 634-9713 for more details.

The meaning of the RTUGAAI LOGO

The six faces, three in each side fronting one another symbolizes the alumni prduced by RTU alumni and mentors in their respective fields namely: Graduate School, Engineering and Industrial Technology, Business Administration, Education, Arts and Sciences and Secondary Education whom the association should continously link together in the essence of camaraderic and untiy.

The green leaves are laurels of success, which the RTU alumni now enjoy.

The colors gold and blue dominate in the design in conformity to the officila color of out Alma Mater. This goes without saying that our association is anchored for the service of the RTU students and for the alumni's welfare.
